In Wewak, East Sepik Province, a small town up north of Papua New Guinea there is an NGO who would very much bring ICT into the community. HELP Resources is an Non-Government Organisation who ver much preach alot about Community Development and Participation of all. HELP Resources started a Community Multi-purpose Telecentre were grassroots go there to access information through their Media Libraray, ICT and Using the Internet Cafe to communicate around the world and also to find market and make business on line.

Since the Multi-purpose Telecentre is working really well with demands from the people, HELP Resources is thinking of bringing it to the local areas too.

I think that is the way to go. Bring services to the community and not making them travel far to look for better services.
